BlueCoreDJ Payment Policy

1. Overview

This Payment Policy outlines how payments, deposits, cancellations, and refunds are handled for DJ services provided by BlueCoreDJ. By booking our services or making a payment, you agree to the terms described in this policy.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

BlueCoreDJ accepts the following payment methods:

  • PayPal

  • Cash payments (only when arranged in advance)

  • Invoice-based payments (Auto send to client but if already paid via other methods the invoice will terminate a week after event occurs)

All online payments are processed securely through Paypal or Wix payment processors. BlueCoreDJ does not store card credentials.

3. Booking Payments(Deposits)

To secure a date, a payment is required. this can be done via the invoice sent upon booking entry or payment done in person at the event (If Booking date lands on a Academic day it won't be counted unless I am compleate with all my course work(See Section 5.2))

3.1 Payment Amount

For bookings outside the county of Dorset but within the UK:

All hired bookings will be 100% with an extra 12.5% fee of the booking charge.

this is to accommodate for travel, hotel stay and food.

For bookings inside the county of Dorset:

All hired bookings will be 100% with an extra 5.5% fee of the booking charge.

this is to accommodate for travel and food. added charges may apply when it comes down to travel time and potential need for Hotel stay.

3.2 Purpose of the Payment

The payment covers:

  • Reservation of your event date

  • Administrative preparation

  • Pre‑event planning and communication

  • Blocking out the time slot for your event

Your booking is not confirmed until the payment has been received.

4. Remaining Balance

4.1 Due Date

The remaining balance must be paid:

  • No later than 7 days before the event, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.2 Late Payments

If payment is not received by the due date:

  • The booking may be placed on hold for a week then due termination

  • Services for booked due date will be liable for late fees (+20% of original cost per overdue day)

5. Cancellations & Refunds

5.1 Client Cancellations

If you cancel your event:

  • If cancellation occurs within 14 days of the event, the full balance may still be due

  • If cancellation occurs more than 14 days before the event, only the payment is refunded

5.2 BlueCoreDJ Cancellations

In the rare event that BlueCoreDJ must cancel:

  • You will receive a full refund, including the payment.

  • We may assist in finding a suitable replacement DJ (optional, not guaranteed).

  • If booking lands on a day that I am in college or University I would have to lead to moving the date to the nearest available date if client is happy with the said new date.

  • If client is deemed as joking or non-serious then BlueCoreDJ will auto terminate the request, this is for all bookings.

5.3 Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule:

  • Payments may be transferred to a new date if the new date is available

  • If the new date is unavailable, the deposit is refunded

6. Additional Fees

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Travel outside the standard service area

  • Extended performance time

  • Special equipment requests

  • Venue‑specific requirements (e.g., PAT testing, insurance documents, early setup)

  • Damage to equipment caused by guests or venue conditions

All additional fees will be communicated clearly before the event whenever possible.

7. Chargebacks & Disputes

If a chargeback is initiated without prior communication:

  • BlueCoreDJ and UltimaCoreStudios reserve the right to provide evidence of the booking, communications, and service agreement

  • Unresolved disputes may be forwarded to collections or legal channels

We strongly encourage clients to contact us first to resolve any concerns.

8. Payment Security

All online payments are processed through secure third‑party providers such as:

  • Wix Payments

  • PayPal

These providers use encryption and industry‑standard security measures. BlueCoreDJ and UltimaCoreStudios do not store or access your full payment card details.

9. Business Structure & Responsibility

BlueCoreDJ operates under the umbrella of UltimaCoreStudios.
All payments, invoices, and financial records may be processed or stored by UltimaCoreStudios for:

  • Accounting

  • Tax compliance

  • Security

  • Administrative management

Payments made to BlueCoreDJ may appear as UltimaCoreStudios on your bank or PayPal statement.
